We know that we are on an evolutionary edge -- we've been talking about it for
15-Minute Manifestation Review as long and I can remember and before -- the Age of Aquarius is here. I've mentioned in previous articles how this means that we are also feeling the influence of the 7th Ray, whose energies govern organization and ritual. It is the quality of the relationship between spirit and matter. It is rhythm which builds, integrates, circulates and manifests. It is the bringer and producer of newness in form. The relational power of this ray motivates law and order, rule and ritual, organization and group consciousness. (The Seventh Ray Institute) Prophets as long as 5000 years ago said that we would drive ourselves to an end through "over-busyness". They foresaw the end of time would cease around our time of the Gregorian calendar years 2012-2025. The Hindu, Mayan, and Native American calendars all end at or between these dates because time, as we know it, would cease to exist. The key phrase is "as we know it". A belief becomes a known when we experience it -- and we must learn to use our minds in new ways in order to experience a higher and different reality than what we have come to see as truth today. Truth as we know it, as well, is relative to experience -- truth changes, so we need to be ever alert to the truth that underlies the happenings of the times we are living in. That underlying truth has to do with the fact that we are allchildren of Aquarius, otherwise we wouldn't be on the planet at this crucial time. What this means is that we must also learn to think in new ways, to use the grey matter in our brains to a higher potential.
There is an esoteric reason that ADD has developed at this time. According to the Wisdom teachings, specifically those of Alice Bailey, The Theosophical Society and Rudolf Steiner, we are at a time in the evolutionary arc where humanity is building the mental body. This mental body involves the neo cortex, or new brain, on the physical level. This new brain needs constant stimulation in order to grow. It needs to gather a lot of information in order to synthesize and come up with new concepts and ideas. What is ADD? It's not lack of concentration, or a deficit of any kind. These kids, (and some of us adults who have been diagnosed with adult onset ADD) are not in dysfunction - it is merely the pendulum swing in bringing in the next step in human potential. Think about it this way. Psychologist have said that these kids will literally have to reinvent themselves 10 times in their lifetimes, because the job they start out in will not be there due to the rapidity of the information and technological advances of the times. Wouldn't it be marvelous if we gave them the mental tools they needed to do that by teaching them how to access the far reaches of their mind through learning meditation and creative problem solving? The reason so many kids, and adults for that matter, are using mind-altering drugs is that there is a deep-seated knowing that we have levels of consciousness that it is time to access. No one is teaching how to do this via meditation and contemplation in our everyday lives, but drugs sure do the trick in a pinch! We must learn how to develop those inner technologies that will lead us to connect with intuition, and ultimately, with the mind of God. We must learn, practice and teach our children and each other how to access higher mind. In order to do that, though, we must first clear the emotional body.
